Level Up is a Sports initiative that was launched in 2022 jointly by my sister and myself in association with Sewa Bharti with the aim of promoting Sports amongst the underprivileged children.

Belonging to a family of sports enthusiasts; I have grown up understanding the value of sports in a students life. Not only do sports help with physical fitness but they also help develop values like discipline and team work that are very valuable in life. They also help to channelize the energy of the children in the right direction. These thoughts as well as the intention to identify and develop sports talent by providing them the right opportunities led to the birth of “Level Up”. 

 “Level  Up” has been running successfully in the Vijay Camp of Sewa Bharti in Malviya Nagar; New Delhi. There are over 30 children in the age group of 6-12 who come there regularly to train and play. I visit the camp regularly to keep a check on the progress as well and interact with the children.

During my visits to the camp, I identified a group of older boys who seemed interested in the sports activities at the camp. It led us extended the program to older children with the formation of a cricket team in the age group of 14-16 led by myself as the captain. These budding cricketers are now training with me and hoping to soon challenge my school cricket team for a match.

The program and its initiatives are my steps towards being able to build a more inclusive world and extend opportunities for development.
